Short version: we only collect what we need to handle your booking and reply to your messages. We don't sell your data. Ever.
Who we are
Luna Oriental is a boutique hotel at SS27-S08 Sonasea Villas & Resort CEO, Ấp Đường Bào, Bãi Trường, Phú Quốc, An Giang province, Vietnam. You can reach us at lunaorientalhotel.pq@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you book directly or send us a message, we collect:
- Your name and contact details (email, phone)
- Booking details (dates, room type, number of guests, special requests)
- Payment information (processed through our payment provider — we don't store card numbers)
- Government ID details on check-in (required by Vietnamese law for foreign guests)
When you browse our website, we (and tools like Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel) collect anonymous usage data: pages visited, device type, approximate location, referrer. This helps us understand what's working.

- To reply to your inquiries
- To send you booking-related messages (confirmation, reminder, check-in details)
- To comply with Vietnamese law (guest registration)

We will only send marketing emails or messages if you explicitly opt in.
Who we share with

- Our booking engine / PMS provider (to manage your reservation)
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data with anyone for marketing purposes.
Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies for: essential functionality, analytics (Google Analytics), and advertising measurement (Facebook Pixel). You can disable cookies in your browser settings — the website still works without them.
How long we keep your data
Booking records: 5 years (for accounting and tax purposes). Inquiries that didn't lead to a booking: 12 months. Government ID records: as required by Vietnamese law.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- See what data we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
