Suối Tranh, a short forest waterfall about 25 km from Luna, is worth the trip specifically from May through October — the same rainy months that keep Bãi Sao calm actually fill this stream back up. The walk in is about a kilometre on a marked path, with a shallow first pool for a splash and a deeper one ten minutes further for older kids who can swim. The rocks get slippery, so this one suits kids old enough to manage closed shoes on a wet trail rather than a toddler in bare feet.

An evening in Phú Quốc that still works with kids

Not every night needs a full theme-park recovery day after it. The Phú Quốc night market in Dương Đông opens around 5:30pm — arrive right at opening, before the 7–9pm crowd, and a stroller still moves fine through the food stalls. Grilled squid on a stick covers most children’s definition of a good dinner, and the covered stalls mean a passing shower won’t end the evening early.

For an occasional bigger night out, Sunset Town in the south has a wide boardwalk built for strollers, gelato stops, and the Kiss of the Sea show at 9pm — free entry for children under 1 metre tall. It’s a late finish, so save it for a night you’re not driving anywhere early the next morning.
